Reading How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

Read the Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.  If you get a chance try reading it with the journal that goes with the book.  It will definitely make you think.

I just finished Heidigger and Hippo walk through the pearly gates...pretty good, it's about the philosophy of death, life, and the afterlife.


My first book that I have been working on for what seems forever is a children's book.  The main character is named Little Robbie.  It's about a little boy who realizes he can talk to God where ever he is.  I hope to have it completed soon.  Stay tuned...

If you didn't know, both myself and Katie were in the Marine Corps.  We are really prone to watching Law and Order, JAG, when it was on.  But, NCIS is one of our favorite shows and has been since it's been on.  If you get a chance, it's on CBS on Tuesdays at 8pm.
It pulls from Military headlines most of the time, but of course it drops a twist everytime.  The characters are fantastic.  Gibbs, Dinozzo, Ziva, McGee, Abby and of course Ducky.

I have decided to write a weekly movie or tv show review.  So, for my very first review I decided to focus on the movie 2012.    I know how appropriate right?!  Have you seen it? 
Well, let me first start by saying I did not have high hopes for it.  I expected it to be an action film with no real plot except its the end of the world and everyone survives.
John Cusak, who technically plays a secondary role, is fantastic.  I don't know if I really enjoyed him or the person he portrayed.  I think it's more the character he was suppose to be.
Even if you haven't seen it, I will tell you this, from start to finish I was sucked in. There were several moments that pulled me back into the movie.
It was a very well rounded movie that would be loved by all Genre lovers.  Based on the Mayan calendar, some geoligists do discover that the due to some irregular sun flares, the earth's core has heated signficantly.  All heck breaks loose from there.
Take the time to see this movie, you will enjoy it!  Oh, even Woody Harrelson, drops in...good stuff!
